Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasoundsonagrapher (Ultrasound Tech) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical anatomical details.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Preparing patients for procedures and providing clear instructions during examinations
- Analyzing technical information and communicating findings to the healthcare provider
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring accuracy of information
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment
- Adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency as an Ultrasound Tech in all Ultrasound studies including echocardiography, and other medical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in medical procedures
